this falls into that category, textured dominoes are not just for visually
impaired people!
Textured dominoes are an ideal way to help children develop tactile discrimination
and visual perception. To develop tactile skills, this set can be used
by placing dominoes in a bag or box, have the child remove one domino (let's
say they pick the blue and green one shown) and then ask them to place
their hand in the box and find another domino with a green circle. If they
succeed, then they need to find the domino that has whatever color is on
the other end of the green one they select, and so on. And if they know
how to play the game of dominoes, have them play the game blind folded...talk
about a challenge!
