COROLLE DOLLS NOT MADE IN CHINA At one time nearly all Corolle dolls were made in France, but because of escalating manufacturing costs, Corolle began to outsource their dolls to other countries little by little, and unfortunately, most of Corolle's excellent dolls are now made in China. The dolls that are not made in China are made in Spain! Why Spain? We don't know. But since the bulk of their dolls come from China, nearly all of Corolle's retail boxes are pre-printed with the words "Made In China" on them. Sometimes Corolle uses the pre-printed China boxes for the dolls produced in Spain. When they do, Corolle (not us) affixes a sticker with the actual country of manufacture over the pre-printed statement (it is cheaper to print a small sticker that says "Made In Spain", than make a new box with the words "Made In Spain"). Currently, two of the dolls below have stickered boxes, Ambre and Annabelle. Again, the stickers were placed on the boxes by Corolle, not us. If you check the dolls sewn-in labels you will see they explicitly say, "Made In Spain". All the items we sell on this web site come from the countries we advertise.
